Its been awhile..

Well its been like two months since I updated. I will get better at this I swear. Alot has happend since then..I am very busy at work and will be until my TAKS test is over which is April 29. AFter that I am headed for a weekend in Austin with some of my besties from college. I am ready to start working on my masters degree because honestly I miss being in school more than anything. If I could I would be a full time student. I had a birthday since my last post and it was really fun. I have been a bridesmaid twice now..first in Libby's wedding and then in Amy's wedding..they were back to back, but I am so happy I got to be a part of both of their special days. I then got to spend 5 days in Steamboat springs Colorado with my big sister, brother in law, niece and nephew. We had so much fun. Our day was pretty routine we would ski all morning take a break for lunch ski in the afternoon hit up the hot tub and pool and then go to the town for dinner and to hang out. I actually like skiing alot better than snowboarding that may be because I got to take a private lesson and got the hang of skiing. I cannot wait for Christmas to go again. I then took my first trip to Minnesota to see Jeffrey..5 weeks was way to loong to be apart and I hope that never happens again. We had such a perfect weekend. We hung out in Minneapolis and in Owatonna too. It was good to see where he lives now, where he works and just everything that he has been up to. We had such a great time i dont think I have laughed that much in a long time. It was super sad to say good bye because it was going to be another 4 weeks until I saw him. Now i am down to 9 days until the next visit. He is coming to dallas and will be here for 9 days even though he is working most of the trip I cannot wait for him to be in TEXAS again and neither can he. After that things are looking up we will meet in Chicago in early May to meet his brand new niece Blythe..I cannot wait to hold that beautiful baby. Then I am going up there for memorial day and then finally School is out for the summer. But summer school yes I am teaching summer school starts June 7 I may regret it later, but right now I think it is a great choice to keep me busy. Then June 12 were going to Lady Antebellum with James and Krista! I am soo excited the summer is going to be full of new things, hanging with great friends and lots of travel. NOw to get me through the month of April..I know that by fixing my eyes on Jesus he will see me through. I am so blessed by all God has provided me and cannot wait to see how things continue to unravel. :)

Jeffrey's House in Minnesota

Bittersweet

Happy Rainy Monday! Well the time has finaly arrived when Jeffrey moves to minnesota for 9 months. It is such a bitter sweet day. I know it will fly by, but that doesnt take away from me being sad. In his devotional this morning he sent to me it said that use times of distress to turn to god and if you do that it will only be a growing opportunity. I am trying to remind my self that this will be a way for me to grow individually and for us to grow as a couple. I am so excited to see how the next 9 months go and cannot wait for my first trip up north. On another note I am very burned out with working right now.. I wish i was just rich lol but seriously. I am thinking the weather may have something to do with this attitude. I am excited to finish my first year of teaching because then I will finally have a grasp on things. I have a busy month ahead, Baylor Sing and I am a bridesmade in two weddings :) It will make time go by fast! My personal goals for the rest of the month are to eat right, work out and trust in the lord with everything i have because I know if I give it all to him it will work out like it always does. HOpe everyone has a great week!

February Approaches

Well tommrrow is the first day of February. Which is the month of my birthday. It will be a busy month. Jeffrey moves, valentines day, visit to waco for sing, libbys wedding and lots of work. Being busy is good I just want to make sure I am truly enjoying every moment I am given. February is also very hard for me because it is a reminder that another year has passed without my dad. I think I will forever be sad and i have come to accept that its perfectly okay. I wonder sometimes what my life would be life if he were still here, but then I am reminded by how blessed my life has really been. I may never understand why my dad died when I was so young, but i know that it has made me who I am today. Im lucky to know that he is with me everyday and always watching over me and my family!
On a lighter note, lots of great things are going on. I work with some amazing people and have been so blessed that God put me at my school. I miss my college friends, seeing my sister every day, running the beartrail, going out on Tuesday nights well basically I just miss college. It really was a great season of my life. I booked my first trip to Minnesota today to go visit my sweet boyfriend that will be living there for the next 9 months doing job training. I also found out that I get to go on a ski trip for spring break with my big sister and her fam! I am super excited. I did my taxes for the first time this month and cant wait to spend my refund haha I am such a girl!
For the next month I am really working on leaving everything in Gods hands and putting all of my faith in him because there really is no other way and its something I seem to be struggling with lately. I am also going to try and eat healthier and work out more. Oh ya and take more pictures I have been falling down on the job lately. I guess this is all for now..hope everyone has a great first day of February!
